Filmon Andmichaen was convicted of the murder of 26-year-old Liwam Bereket. He was also convicted of child destruction relating to her unborn child.
He stabbed her in woodland off Freeth Street, Ladywood, Birmingham, on 1 August 2023.
The court heard that Liwam Bereket's unborn child was a complication he was unwilling to accept. She had been 27 weeks pregnant.
